ERA Environmental Consulting, Inc. provides a comprehensive environmental management, compliance and information system designed for generators of hazardous (Subtitle C) and non-hazardous (Subtitle D) waste. The system operator can manage all waste from "Cradle to Grave" and generate Forms IC, GM, WR, PS, OI.

The Waste Management Module can easily reduce your emissions reporting burden as well as the fees associated with emissions management. The unique interface between the Waste Management Module and the Air Emissions Module guarantees that your Site Facility’s emissions are reduced by the exact amount of reportable HAP/VOCS contained in the Hazardous Waste.

The Waste Management Module provides four (4) different methods of calculating & reporting Hazardous Waste.

1. Hazardous Waste by Quantity Method 1

2. Hazardous Waste by Product Method 2

3. Hazardous Waste by Specific Chemical Method 3

4. Hazardous Waste by Ratio Method 4

Each of the methodologies listed above is fully supported in the Waste Management Module but many of our clients have chosen to utilize the “Ratio Method” . Calculations are based on the amount of hazardous waste shipped off-site for a certain date period. The program then calculates the percentage of hazardous waste shipped off site relative to the total amount of product usage in the same date period. Then the pounds of reportable chemical are reduced by a ratio equal to that percentage. When the Usage Record method is used you will never end up with negative numbers in your reports.
